“Oh look, John! It’s a cat! Isn’t it cute?” Mary cooed.
John nodded in response.
Mary hugged his arm. “I want a three cats, and a really big dog, one day.”
John turned to face her. “You will take all of them, right?”
Mary smiled. “Of course!”
“Good.”
Mary turned to him, “Wait, aren’t you going to help me?”
John grinned mischievously, “No, why would I? I’m not the one who wants three cats and a big dog.”
Mary puffed up her cheeks. “I can’t handle three cats and a big dog by myself.”
John poked them. “You want three cats and a big dog.”
“So I could share them with you!” she protested.
